PRIVACY is vital!

 One of the single biggest ISSUES that I personally face here in Jamaica everyday, that I see as a REAL obstacle to our progress is...

The lack of Privacy and awareness of the need for Confidentiality. There is almost absolutely NO RESPECT for other persons privacy; their business, their belongings, their private information and activities etc are discussed without any care for morality, principles or even "time and place" or consideration even when minors are present. This means that information becomes privy to all kinds of persons who are able to over hear... 

Often times in my case, many times, the information is given to everyone except for who it really applies to. This makes information withholding almost like a game to play, exciting to some how much of a nuisance they can cause by having information that is not needed by them and obstructing the persons who do require it from being able to access these vital powers. 

As we all know well " Information is Power" so giving information to others in order to empower them to be in a position to manipulate those powers, to obstruct the process, to disrupt other persons lives is really asking for trouble! And this is why we have so many problems in Jamaica because those who have the knowledge refuse to do things better.  They only want to use their information, their knowledge and their power to oppress!
